Paul E. Link

Paul E. Link

Paul E. Link, age 75, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly at home on December 2, 2024.  To honor Paul’s life, a private family service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque with the Very Rev. Dennis J. Quint officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Paul’s family.

Paul was born on August 8, 1949, in Dubuque, IA, son to Norman and JoAnn (Lucas) Link.  He was a good and decent man who embraced life and loved his family. Paul was meticulous with his responsibilities, working as a supervisor at Flexsteel for over 25 years. Paul lead with dignity and respect, making many friends along the way.

In his free time, Paul enjoyed putting a few miles on his Harley. Paul also liked watching a wide variety of shows and movies, but he especially enjoyed Westerns and sports. During the NASCAR season, he watched every race he could and loved talking about racing with his son and grandsons. His all-time favorite driver was Mark Martin. Paul also liked talking to his daughter to catch up on his grandson’s hockey games. Paul was also a football fan and cheered for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas City Chiefs.

Paul’s sudden absence from our lives is more than our hearts and minds can process or understand.  We will miss him deeply, more than he would have ever known. Thank you, Paul, for reminding us to treasure each day moving forward, as each day is precious, and we never know which will be the last. May the Lord now keep you safe in His loving arms until we all meet again. May the memories that you leave behind help bring us peace as we face this much dimmer world without you among us.

Those left to cherish the memory of Paul include,

Jeff (Melissa) Link, Peosta, IA,

and Jodi (Michael) Ciampa, Arlington, MA;
