Dorothy F. Calame

To honor Dorothy’s life, a private family graveside service will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Edwardsville, IL.  The family would like to thank all the staff at the Galena Senior Care Community and Hospice of Dubuque for the gentle care and respect you gave to Dot these last few years.  You are truly angels on earth. 

Marie E. “Meezie” Ginter

Marie E. “Meezie” Ginter, age 76, of East Dubuque, IL, completed her earthly journey on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Hawkeye Care Center in Asbury, IA, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Marie’s life, a private family burial will be held at the East Dubuque Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Marie’s family.

Carol J. Burchette

Carol J. Burchette, age 80, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 16, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Carol’s life, a private family memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Carol’s family.

Albert A. “Al” Hoist, Jr.

Albert “Al” Hoist, Jr. age 61, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 14, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Al’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Denny’s Lux Club, 3050 Asbury Road in Dubuque.  Al’s family is honored to invite all who knew and loved him to join in fellowship with them in saying Farewell for Now to our beloved brother and friend.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Al’s family.

Michael J. “Mike” McGovern

Michael J. “Mike” McGovern, age 70, of East Dubuque, IL, completed his earthly journey on March 15, 2025, at Mercy Hospital while surrounded by his loving family.  Per Mike’s wishes, there will be no public services held.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mike’s family.

Jack E. Wirtz

Jeanette M. Sedbrook

To honor Jeanette’s life, a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 14, 2025, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tennyson, WI.  A visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the St. Andrew’s Church Cemetery.

Carla R. Beyer

Carla R. Beyer, age 59, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 4, 2025, at home while surrounded by her loving family. To honor Carla’s life, a celebration in her memory will be held in the spring. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Carla’s family.

Arvin A. Weber

Arvin Andrew Weber, age 81, of Lancaster, WI passed away on March 6, 2025. He was born on November 9, 1943, to Harold and Almira (Dalsing) Weber. He attended Potosi High School. After school, Arvin served in the army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany. He was a member of the American Legion Post 148 in Bloomington. Per Arvin’s request, there will be no services. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Patricia A. “Pattie” Ostrander

Patricia A. “Pattie” Ostrander, age 78, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 3, 2025, at UnityPoint Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. Pattie was born on November 16, 1946, in Dubuque, IA, the eldest daughter to Charles and Irene (Soward) Williams. To honor Pattie’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, with a visitation starting at 9:30 a.m., at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 1240 Rush Street, with Fr. Robert Gross officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Pattie’s family.

Margaret (Downs) Wilke

Margaret (Downs) Wilke, age 93, of Tennyson, WI, was called home to her Lord and Savior on February 16, 2025.  To honor Margaret’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Tennyson, WI.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Margaret’s family.

Carol A. Gibbons

Carol Ann Gibbons, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 18, 2025, at Harmony Care Center, Dubuque.  To honor Carol’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Carol’s family.

David J. Frommelt

David J. Frommelt, age 61, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 30, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Dave’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dave’s family.

David E. Cue

David E. Cue, age 76, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 27, 2025, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor David’s life, at a later date a family service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.  Entombment will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving David’s family.

Thomas J. “T.J.” Wunder

Thomas J. “T.J.” Wunder, age 53, of Waterloo, IA, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on January 29, 2025, at home. To honor Tom’s life, a memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1425 Iowa Street in Dubuque, with Rev. Dennis Quint officiating. Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for one hour prior to the service at the church. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Perry S. Pickel

Perry S. Pickel, age 59, of Dubuque, IA, passed away suddenly on January 25, 2025.  To honor Perry’s life, a private family service will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.  Entombment will be in the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Perry’s family.

Herbert A. “Herb” Quint

Herbert A. Quint, age 90, of Cascade, Iowa, passed away on January 24, 2025, at home while surrounded by family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 7, 2025, at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 411 4th Avenue, NW in Cascade with Rev. Mark Osterhaus officiating.  There will be a visitation at the church from 10 to 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow Mass in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Cascade where full military honors will be accorded by the Cascade American Legion Post #528.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Herbert’s family.

Wylie K. Bledsoe

Wylie K. Bledsoe, age 81, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 19, 2025, at MercyOne Hospital in Dubuque surrounded by his loving family.  To honor and celebrate Wylie’s life, a reception will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens, 3800 Arboretum Drive in Dubuque.  There will also be a memorial service held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road, Fond du Lac, WI, with Pastor David Haugly officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in the common areas for lunch and celebration of Wylie’s life from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Newburg, WI, at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Wylie’s family.

Ronald L. “Ron” Liskey

Ronald L. “Ron” Liskey, age 71, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on January 19, 2025, at Dubuque Specialty Care.  To honor Ron’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the North Grove Cemetery in Caro, MI.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.

Gloria D. Templeton

Gloria D. Templeton, age 68, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on January 12, 2025, at the Hawkeye Care Center in Asbury, IA, while surrounded by her loving family and friends.  To honor Gloria’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Gloria’s family.
