Rosemarie A “Rea” Steppan, age 84, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on May 17, 2023, at Stonehill Care Center while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Rosemarie’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 241 Peosta Street, Peosta, IA.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship for two hours prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery in Centralia.  The service will be livestreamed on the Parish’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/stelizabethpastorate for those who cannot physically attend. Kay’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Summit Congregational United Church of Christ, 2885 John F. Kennedy Road in Dubuque, IA. Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church. All are also welcome to join in food and fellowship following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Elno A. “Al” Coulson, age 84, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on May 15, 2023, at Harmony Care Center in Dubuque, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Al’s life, a private family graveside service is being held at Mt. Yvonne E. “Bonnie” Schreiner, age 90, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on May 13, 2023, at Stonehill Care Center.  To honor Bonnie’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Mt. Donald E. “Don” Hord, age 86, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on May 11, 2023, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Don’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Warsaw, IL, at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

Gerald (Jerry) N. Arensdorf, age 97, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on April 28, 2023, at Luther Manor while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Jerry’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at St. Columbkille’s Catholic Church, 1240 Rush Street in Dubuque, with Father Tom McDermott officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship 9:00am to 10:15 at the church.  Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jerry’s family.

Dale A. “Grub” Griffin, age 68, of Dickeyville, WI, completed his earthly journey on April 30, 2023, at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, IA.  To honor Dale’s life, a Gathering of Remembrance will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at PJ’s Pub and Hall, 3670 County HHH, Kieler, WI.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Dale’s family.

James Russell Perry, 93, Platteville, WI, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Southwest Health Hospital in Platteville, WI. A cookout will be held at Flora Park (Pennsylvania Pavilion) from noon to 2:00 p.m. on May 27th to celebrate Jim’s memory.

Beverly Ann Christensen, age 69, of Epworth, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on April 27, 2023, at MercyOne in Dubuque, IA.  To honor Beverly’s life, her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., at the Sherrill United Methodist Church, 5501 South Mound Road, Sherrill, IA, with Dr. James Cummings officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in her Celebration of Life beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the church.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Beverly’s family.

Douglas W. “Doug” Swift, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 26, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque.  To honor Doug’s life, Celebrations of Life will be held in Iowa and New Hampshire at a later date.  Burial will be in the Hope Utah Cemetery in Galesburg, IL. and in the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham, N.H.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Doug’s family.

Norma J. Davis, age 85, of Galena, IL, completed her earthly journey on March 22, 2023, at the Midwest Senior Care Community in Galena.  To honor Norma’s life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Galena Bible Church, 11108 US-20, with Pastor Gary Kirst officiating.  Family and friends of Norma’s are invited to join in fellowship for one prior to the service at the church. Ellen A. “Allie” Jones-Davis age 84 formerly of Cuba City and Hazel Green WI passed away Wednesday March 22, 2023, at Orchard Manor Nursing home in Lancaster, WI. A Celebration of Life with a luncheon will be held Saturday April 29, 2023, at the American Legion Hall, 413 E. Calhoun St, Cuba City, WI from 11:30 to 1:30.

Thomas I. “Tic” Correll, age 50, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 20, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital.  To honor Tom’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held from on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at The Other Side, 68 Sinsinawa Avenue in East Dubuque, IL.  A ride will be held from 12:00-5:00 p.m. with live music, food, and raffles to follow.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tom’s family.

Carol Jean Duster, age 75, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey suddenly on March 18, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital, with her loving family by her side.  As per Carol’s wishes; there will be no visitation.  Carol did not want her passing to be filled with sadness.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Carol’s family.
