Ronald G. “Ron” Manternach, age 80, of Cascade, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on Sept. 28, 2021, at home.  To honor Ron’s life, his Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, at 11:00 am, at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 411 4th Avenue in Cascade, IA.  Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:00-11:00 am on Monday at the church prior to the service.  Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Cascade.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Ron’s family.

Alice E. Amling, age 89, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on Sept. 22, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Alice’s life, a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2021, at St. Columbkille’s Church, 1240 Rush Street, in Dubuque.  Family and friends are also invited to join in food and fellowship on Saturday, at 4:00 pm, at the Moracco Supper Club, 1413 Rockdale Road, in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Alice’s family.

Constance K. “Aunt Flossie” McIntyre, age 78, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on September 14, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Constance’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Constance’s family.

Patrick A. “Pat” Grutz, age 55, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed his earthly journey on September 15, 2021, at UnityPoint-Finley Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Pat’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Pat’s family.

Michele L. McGee, age 48, of Bettendorf, IA, formerly of Dubuque, completed her earthly journey on September 2, 2021, at UnityPoint Health-Rock Island, IL, after a courageous battle with cancer.  To honor Michele’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Michele’s family.

Katherine A. Wiebersch, age 79, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on September 2, 2021, at Unity Point-Finley Hospital, in Dubuque. To honor Kathy’s life, a private Celebration of Life for close family & friends will be help at a later date in Dubuque. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Kathy’s family.

Jerome A. “Jerry” Bries, 75 of Dubuque, completed his earthly journey Sept. 2, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. To honor Jerry, a Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday Sept. 7, 2021, in the Riverfront Pavilion at Eagle Point Park, Dubuque. Please join us in a casual gathering of family & friends. We encourage friends to bring their classic cars as we host one last car show in Jerry’s honor.

Rebecca L. “Beckie” Brady, age 61, of Dubuque, Iowa, sadly completed her earthly journey suddenly on August 23, 2021, at home in the loving arms of her husband, James.  To honor Beckie’s life, a private graveside service will be held at the Shippy Cemetery in Grant, Michigan.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Beckie’s family.

Patricia Lee (Hedges) Burnett, 93, of Marion, IA, died August 25, 2021, at Hawkeye Care Center in Dubuque, IA, following a long illness.  Visitation will be held on August 30, from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM, with a funeral to follow at 11:00 AM, at Marion Christian Church, 1050 McGowan Blvd, Marion, Iowa.  Masks will be required inside the church.  Burial will be in the Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.

Renate (Schöning) Arnz passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 19, 2021 in Dubuque, Iowa. She was 82 years old. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the future. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Dubuque, IA (in Memory of Mrs. Renate Arnz).

David L. “Red” Holst, age 70, of East Dubuque, IL, completed his earthly journey on August 13, 2021, at home, surrounded by his loving family.  To honor David’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving David’s family.

Randall A. “Randy” Horsman, age 60, of Woodford, WI, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at home.  To honor Randy’s life, a Celebration of Life is being scheduled at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Randy’s family.

Gary L. Germain, age 79, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on August 8, 2021, at Stonehill Care Center, surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Gary’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., at the Linwood Mueller Memorial Chapel, 2736 Windsor Avenue in Dubuque.  A prayer service for Gary will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Father Herbert Pins officiating.  Burial will be in the Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Gary’s family.

Roger T. Johnson, age 66, of Dubuque, Iowa, died on July 29, 2021, at MercyOne in Dubuque. To honor Roger’s life, family and friends may gather together for his Celebration of Life from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the Miller Riverview Park-Wisconsin Pavilion. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Roger’s family.

Robert C. “Bob” Juergens, age 88, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on August 1, 2021, at Bethany Home in Dubuque.  To honor Bob’s life, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, August 27, 2021, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 60 S. Algona St. in Dubuque, with Father Jim Goerend officiating.  Family and friends of Bob’s may visit from 9:00–11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Bob’s family.

Jenkins, age 80, of Dubuque, Iowa, completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at home, surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Marilyn’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Hope Church, 11893 J.F.K. Road in Dubuque.  Family and friends of Marilyn’s may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., prior to the service at the church.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Marilyn’s family.

Marjory Ann “Marge” Weed, age 90, of Dubuque, and formerly of Renwick, IA, completed her earthly journey on July 24, 2021, at Bethany Home in Dubuque.  To honor Marge’s life, a private family service will be held at a later date.  Her burial will be in the Vernon Township Cemetery in Renwick, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.

William G. “Bill” McGuire, age 73, of Dubuque, IA passed away on July 13, 2021, surrounded by his loving family and friends.  To honor Bill’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 26, 2021, in the Stone Cliff Winery event room, 600 Star Brewery Drive in Dubuque .   The Tri-State Cremation Center is assisting Bill’s Family.

William R. “Bill” Hottenstein, age 66, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on July 6, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids. To honor Bill’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m., at the Blackhawk Pavilion in the Galena Recreation Park, 1721 Field Street in Galena, IL.
