Charles D. “Chuck” Steffen, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, from complications following emergency heart surgery.  As per Chuck’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held. The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Chuck’s family.

Linda J. (Hartshorn) Markee, age 73, of East Dubuque, IL, completed her earthly journey suddenly on November 3, 2024, at MercyOne in Dubuque.  To honor Linda’s life, a private family Celebration of Life is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Linda’s family.

William T. “Boots” Turnmeyer, age 63, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on November 1, 2024, at the Harmony Nursing Home in Dubuque.  To honor William’s life, a private family burial will be held at the Dubuque Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving William’s family.

Patrick M. Miller, age 70, of Peosta, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 28, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Patrick’s life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Patrick’s family.

Jean “Jeannie” M. Grimes, age 93, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on October 25, 2024, at UnityPoint-Finley Hospital, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Jean’s life, a private family service is being held.  Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jean’s family.

To honor Rita’s Life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 2001 St Joseph Drive.  Burial will be in the Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.

Foley, age 46, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on October 20, 2024, following injuries sustained in an accident.  To honor Shawn’s life, a private family service is being held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque, where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Shawn’s family.

David R. Schoenhard, age 75, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 18, 2024, at home, while in the loving presence of wife.  To honor David’s life, a private family service is being held at the First Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving David’s family.

Terry L. Loso, age 80, of East Dubuque, IL, completed his earthly journey on October 15, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Terry’s life, a private family Celebration of Life will be held.  Burial will be in the East Dubuque Cemetery at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Terry’s family.

Paul C. Jarding, age 76, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 8, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Paul’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the Resurrection Catholic Church, 4300 Asbury Road in Dubuque, with Rev. Phil Gibbs officiating.  Burial with full military honors accorded by the Farley American Legion Post #0656 will be held at the St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Farley, IA, at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Paul’s family.

Anthony F. “Tony” Liberato, age 81, of East Dubuque, IL, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, completed his earthly journey on October 5, 2024, at Stonehill Care Center in Dubuque, IA.  To honor Tony’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tony’s family.

Lyle L. “Ossie” Smith, age 92, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on October 3, 2024, at Luther Manor.  To honor Lyle’s life, a private family burial will be held at the Asbury Cemetery in Asbury, IA.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Lyle’s family.

Duane C. Schreiber, age 77, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on September 24, 2024, at home, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Duane’s life, a Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Tri-State Community Church, 12937 Derby Grange Road, with Pastor Jack Redmond officiating.  Family and friends of Duane’s are invited to join in fellowship prior to the service at the church from 2:00–5:00 p.m.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Duane’s family.

Christine R. Gray, age 72, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on September 26, 2024, at Dubuque Specialty Care, while surrounded by her loving friends and caregivers. Beverly Louise “Bev” Drapeau, age 96, of Galena, IL, completed her earthly journey on September 3, 2024, at home while surrounded by her loving family.
