Gerald A. “Jerry” Riniker, age 83, of Durango, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 31, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  Per Jerry’s wish, there will be no public service.  However, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Jerry’s family.

Norman Thomas Duve, 85, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Hawkeye Care Facility after complications following a surgery.

Tammie L. Baker, age 61, of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 25, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, after a sudden illness.  In Tammie’s final moments, she was surrounded by the love of her family and best friend.  To honor Tammie, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Grace Point Church, 3100 Windsor Avenue in Dubuque.  A Memorial Service including time for sharing will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jeffrey Durham officiating.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Tammie’s family.

Donald M. “Don” Michel, age 90, of Bellevue, IA, completed his earthly journey on March 22, 2024, at the Mill Valley Care Center in Bellevue, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Don’s life, a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 105 E. Main Street, Springbrook, IA, with Rev. Robert Gross officiating.  Family and friends are invited to join in fellowship from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Sts. Peter &Paul Church Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Bellevue American Legion.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Don’s family.

Alicia J. Metz Dressler, age 38, of Patch Grove, WI, formerly of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 21, 2024, at the University of Wisconsin Madison Hospital after complications from cancer and brain surgery.  To honor Alicia’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Alicia’s family.

Eric J. Burkholder, age 51, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on  March 17, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family and friends.  To honor Eric’s life, a private family service is being held.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Eric’s family.

Karla K. Schramm, age 67, of Dubuque, IA, completed her earthly journey on March 15, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque, while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Karla’s life, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Karla’s family.

Ronald “Ron” Hixon, age 84, of La Motte, IA, passed away March 14, 2024, at the University Of Iowa Hospitals Neurosurgery ICU while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Ron’s life, a private family service is being held at Grandview Methodist Church at a later date.

Robin G. Groom, age 61, of Dickeyville, WI, completed his earthly journey on March 14, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Robin’s life, his Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at P.J.’s Pub and Hall, 3670 County HHH in Kieler, WI.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Robin’s family.

Robert James “Bob” Hall, age 74, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey on  February 28, 2024, at Stonehill Care Center, while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor Bob’s life, a private family service will be held at Mt. Mary A. Montag, age 76, of Dyersville, IA, completed her earthly journey on February 26, 2024, at home while surrounded by her loving family.  To honor Mary’s life, her Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Denny’s Lux Club, 3050 Asbury Road in Dubuque, IA.  A private family burial will be held in the East Dubuque Cemetery.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Mary’s family.

Paul Richard Reisen Jr. 56 of Freeport, Illinois passed away Friday, February 16, 2024.  A private family service will be held at a later date where full military honors will be accorded by the Dubuque Marine Corps League.

Duane J. Ryness, age 69, of Dubuque, IA, completed his earthly journey suddenly on Friday, February 23, 2024, in Dubuque, IA.  To honor Duane’s life, a private family service is being held at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving Duane’s family.

Linda K. Mushrush, age 67, of Dyersville, IA, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024, at home while surrounded by her loving family after a courageous 24 year battle with cancer.  To honor Linda’s life, her memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 2899 Hales Mill Road in Asbury, IA, with Rev. Karla Wildberger officiating.  Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service for Linda’s family and friends.  

James W. Skinner, Jr., age 39, of Dubuque IA, formerly of Davenport, IA, completed his earthly journey on February 13, 2024, at home while surrounded by his loving family.  To honor James’ life, a Celebration of Life will be held in Chicago, IL at a later date.  The Tri-State Cremation Center is humbly serving James’ family.
