Leah, we are so very sorry for your loss. Lee was a wonderful man and you cared so beautifully for him and loved him so well. Our prayers and deepest sympathies are with you.
Wonderful people leave a wide trail of wonderful memories. Lee and Leah were very kind to my young family! Their mentorship and example of how they lived their lives will be handed down for generations.
Leah, our hearts are broken.
Saddened to see. Knew Lee from years at John Deere. Always dedicated, a leader and very influential in the design and product groups. Sincere condolences to the family at this time.
Leah, Rex, Amy, children and grandchildren, Lee was a stellar man and always enjoyed his stories at our family gatherings. The circle of life is getting smaller and smaller. Our thoughts are with you all in his celebration of life.
Always learning, always teaching, always progressing, in his profession, his faith and his life.
I wanted to express my sympathy to Lee’s family. I knew Lee from my working at the Deere Tech Center and making consulting visits to Dubuque. Lee’s first job with Deere was in the Materials Engineering Department at Moline which later became part of the Tech Center. He usually had a good natured jab about help from the Tech Center!
We are sad to hear about your family’s loss. I will always remember Lee as a very great John Deere engineer. He made many improvements in Deere products during his many years of working for our company.
Sincerely,
Henry and Marilyn Berns
Leah,
I’m so saddened to hear of Lee’s passing. During our years together at Deere (and beyond with SAE) I appreciated Lee’s engineering and technology leadership. Many of us owe Lee thanks for his career coaching.
On a more personal, I always viewed Lee as a mentor, not only from the career viewpoint, but also in personal and professional integrity. I could always count on Lee to provide clarity in any ambiguous situation. Lee was a positive, strong individual.
My thoughts are also with you, as well as “all about Lee”.
With deep sympathy,
Gail
