Ralph was born on October 12, 1950, in Dubuque, IA, one of twelve children to Howard L. and Virginia L. (Coyle) Pregler. Ralph honorable served his country with the U.S. Army and began his career in the construction trades upon his return home in 1973. He was proud of the numerous projects which he was a part of around town and enjoyed watching his skills remain on display throughout his years. In his free-time, Ralph was an avid deer hunter and always enjoyed a brisk morning in the woods in search of the next big buck who was unfortunate enough to wander into his sites. He was also a proud owner of a 1977 Corvette which he had restored and drove whenever time allowed. His passions in life were limited, but his determination to go all in at 100% was never in question when he found something he enjoyed. But, primarily Ralph was a family man through and through. Any opportunity to have his family and friends by his side was truly what brought Ralph joy in this life. His kind and generous soul only strived to be in the presence of those he loved whenever possible. We are going to miss Ralph more than he could realize, but will in time find peace within the abundance of wonderful memories which he leaves behind. Thank you, Ralph, for simply being you day in and day out, and may the Lord hold you securely in His grace filled hands until we all meet again.
